What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of the CICS environment
- Identify and resolve issues within the CICS infrastructure in a timely manner
- Implement changes to the CICS environment while adhering to change management processes
- Monitor and optimize the performance of CICS components for improved efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation for the CICS infrastructure and ensure knowledge sharing across the team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7+ years of overall experience in supporting mainframe infrastructure software products such as CICS Transaction Server and z/OS Connect
- 5+ years of experience in CICS system administration within a large mainframe environment
- 5+ years of experience in multi-platform application support and performance tuning
- 3+ years of experience reading and/or programming with COBOL
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving CICS-related issues
- Familiarity with change management processes and best practices
- Strong understanding of CICS architecture and its integration with other systems
- Experience with CICS Explorer and familiarity with Splunk
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
