      Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Cloud Engineer to Build, develop, and maintain cloud-native software web applications and systems in support of CVS business needs and end customers. Duties include: design, build, and maintain websites using scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media inclusive of tools, technologies, and processes; collaborate with peers and end users to produce cutting-edge web solutions in enterprise, web, and cloud applications; deliver solutions, identify and mitigate risks to product before deployment and production; develop databases to support web applications and websites and performance of website tests according to planned schedules, or after any website or product revision; design new software applications or enhancements of existing software solutions; translate business requirements into technical specifications; design and code system functionality; develop cost-effective website, webapplication, and program solutions; build, test, and deploy code needed to run on a multi-cloud platform and containerize applications; select programming languages, design tools, or applications and valuate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, and meets industry standards; design, implement, and support data ingestion and consumption pipelines for enterprise-scale datasets; create machine/deep learning infrastructure that operationalizes data science models for broad consumption; design and code in big-data components such as HBase, scripting, data storage, messaging, and processing tools; implement prototypes to evaluate solutions and ensure technical feasibility of designs; test data creation, to support highquality code development and the absence of defects prior to code promotion; and recommend software solutions and or infrastructure improvements to reduce overhead or reduce technical debt.       Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Java, Python, ETL, Tableau, Docker, SpringBoot, Scala, or Spark; Big Data tools such as Hive, Pig, Spark, and Kafka; Unit and integration testing; Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) processes; and CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps.

      Pay Range: $110406.00/year to $207000.00/year.

      This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
