      Meet the team:

      Sr. Analyst, Commercial Analytics will drive the analytics effort for Dexcom Canada’s commercial leadership team.

      This position will include (but is not limited to) responsibility for the development and management of proactive and ad-hoc analytics at both the national and sub-national levels. Success in this position will require a problem-solving orientation, data analysis expertise, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have proven success in managing multiple complex pieces of data analysis and translating that analysis into actionable commercial insights.

      Where you come in:

      • Act as a strategic partner to the Commercial team in key activities, such as brand planning, performance analysis, and assessment of initiatives

      • Partner with commercial leadership and other functions to provide insightful summaries and suggest ways to optimize the execution of strategic programs

      • Develop, maintain, and oversee performance reporting against key performance indicators, working with functional leads to understand strategic initiatives and identify ways to measure performance

      • Manage advanced analytics projects including ROI analyses of various strategic initiatives

      • Provide recommendations to the Commercial team to ensure measurable outcomes for new initiatives

      • Effectively explain modeling assumptions to key stakeholders including senior leadership via oral and written communication. Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Forecasting, and other relevant stakeholders to communicate analysis and context clearly and effectively throughout the organization as needed

      • Manage and execute ad hoc analysis projects

      • Prepare, distribute, and present various reports to stakeholders throughout the organization, including senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

      • Ensure all data and reporting are managed in a compliant manner, and adhere to the highest level of quality

      What makes you successful:

      • Strong analytical skills combined with a client service mindset with the capability to define and execute data-driven approaches to solving business questions

      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with key commercial stakeholders as well as cross-functionally

      • Understanding of how senior management thinks and makes decisions; demonstrated ability to think strategically to drive key business decisions

      • The high degree of intellectual curiosity

      • Experience developing and maintaining Excel-based models and conducting related quantitative analysis in the pharmaceutical/MedTech healthcare space

      • Familiarity with healthcare market research

      Preferred

      • Bachelor’s Degree in analytics, business, finance, computer science, information systems, or similar

      • Experience with diabetes market

      • Consulting experience with strategic business analysis in healthcare

      • Experience with opportunity assessments for early-to-mid stage assets

      • Experience with managing vendor relationships

      • Experience with secondary data sources in Canadian market, such as sales and prescription data, medical claims, remittance data etc.

      Travel Required:

      • 15-25%

      Experience and Education:

      • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.

      • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience

      $90,400.00 - $150,600.00
