About the team and the role:
eBay Ads is a multidisciplinary craft, involving a wide variety of on-site and off-site advertisers, merchants, content, promotions, and products. Our advertising tools offer eBay sellers the ability to reach buyers at different points of their shopping journey with a variety of advertising solutions. You will have an opportunity to increase a seller's ability to increase their sales and engage with buyers through a variety of experience both on and off eBay.As a Staff Designer on the Ads Design team, you will have an exciting opportunity to lead collaborative cross-functional, cross-domain projects that bring end-to-end buyer and seller marketplace experiences to life for our customers.

What you will accomplish:

• Represent the customer’s needs, expectations and mindset to help inform the best experience that’s right for them and for eBay

• Design end to end experiences and interactions or other complex experiences which have AI as a core capability

• Work with design and product leadership to ensure a cohesive and focused product vision

• Take a hands-on approach in creating prototypes, diagrams, and production ready design work to support this effort

• Develop effective design approaches for surfacing user needs, exploring potential solutions, delivering practical design deliverables, and synthesizing design work into systems of reusable components

• Synthesize industry trends, internal and third-party research, team insights, business priorities, and partner feedback into actionable UX strategy and design execution
  
  

What you will bring:

• 10+ years of professional experience in product design with experience as an IC design leader in working across large cross-domain and cross-functional projects that define an end-to-end customer experience

• Outstanding portfolio that demonstrates a broad range of design and product strategy across web-based applications, consumer experiences, and mobile products

• Experience driving product design for end-to-end programs and strong understanding of user-centered design processes in agile, cross-functional teams

• Experience using design thinking methods to drive consensus and collaboration across a large organization

• Proactive collaborator and communicator with a track record of anchoring teams and building strong, cross-functional partnerships

• Experience with large organizational design systems, contribution methods and opportunities for growth
