      United States Gypsum Company is seeking a Staff Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent degree. 10 years of related experience. Required skills: Design, create & review Motor load list, MCC Single Line diagram, Motor /VFD Schematics, MCC Sizing, Transformer sizing; Prepare and review Device list, MCC Specification, Transformer specification, VFD specification, Control Panel specification; Prepare and review design layouts including cable tray, lighting, grounding, equipment layouts; Prepare and review P&I diagram; Design, Create & review PLC I/O schematic drawings, control panel layout drawings, control panel specification; 19% domestic and 1% international travel required. Must live within normal commuting distance of Chicago, IL and near a major airport; up to 90% remote work allowed. Co headquarters in Chicago, IL.

      Salary: $132,912-$140,000/year.

      Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. USG offers benefit options for employees and their families, including two medical insurance options, vision, and dental coverage. The cost of these optional programs varies based on coverage level. Coverage options are offered on day one.
