- Review switchgear drawings and customer substation metering system design.
- Review customer installation of Distributed Energy Resources for compliance with PSE&G operating and maintenance practices.
- Advise and make recommendations on new meter equipment selection.
- Develop configuration settings for electric meters.
- Support understanding of Electric Meter Data and successful roll out of Use Cases.
- Manage and support required compliance-based PJM meter test schedule to ensure integrity of metering.
- Look for and champion enhancements to Safe operations, Meter Data Quality, and operating efficiency.

Job Summary
Work as an engineer within PSE&G’s Measurement Systems Operations Department, utilizing a broad knowledge of business and engineering principles and practices acquired through progressive experience. This position supports Electric Distribution meter services.

Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical
• A minimum of 4 years relevant engineering experience
• Must possess demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail as well as planning and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills ability to travel• Ability to attend meetings in and outside of NJ as required.
• Desire to handle challenging projects and the ability to quickly come up to speed is essential.
• Desire to learn new concepts and attention to details is critical to be successful in this position.
• Ability to respond to emergency storm and other conditions that may require fieldwork during nights and weekends.Desired:
• Knowledge of electric transmission, resource, substation, and distribution systems and equipment.
• Professional Engineer track
