Define and execute Penny’s multimodal design language, setting industry standards for conversational AI.
Lead the branding and design system, collaborating with external agencies and internal stakeholders to implement across the entire Penny experience.
Overhaul existing user experiences and introduce groundbreaking AI-driven interfaces.
Conceptualize and craft innovative solutions leveraging conversational and multimodal interaction design principles.
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers to bring your innovative designs to life.
Mentor and collaborate with fellow designers, sharing insights on AI design trends and best practices.
Develop and execute rigorous A/B testing strategies, using data-driven insights to refine design and optimize user engagement.

8+ years of experience in product design, with deep expertise in conversational and multimodal (voice, chat, touch) interfaces.
Strong proficiency with AI design, ideally within consumer-facing applications, and familiarity with current trends in conversational AI.
Skilled in Figma; familiarity with animation tools beneficial.
Data-driven approach with proven experience in experimentation and user-centric design decisions.
Exceptional communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, capable of articulating complex design concepts clearly and providing impactful feedback in collaborative settings.
Familiarity with agile product development processes, and lean product development methods.
Strong understanding of usability and accessibility standard methodologies.
Designs content-first and mobile-first, and takes into account technical feasibility and development level of effort.
Understands modularity and reusability of assets, while maintaining and adding to design systems.

We're looking for a visionary Staff Multimodal Product Designer to join our AI Experiences team, dedicated to Penny, our advanced AI travel assistant. You'll shape Penny’s multimodal (voice, chat, touch, vision) interfaces, transforming how millions of customers plan and book travel. Collaborating in a dynamic, agile team, you'll craft intuitive, visually engaging, and delightful user experiences.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $175,000- $200,000 USD.

Flexible work at Priceline
Priceline is following a hybrid working model, which includes two days onsite as determined by you and your manager (ideally selecting among Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday). On the remaining days, you can choose to be remote or in the office.
