      CPMC-California Pacific Med Center

      Position Overview:

      Training program for nurses with at least one year experience, looking to advance their skills in the critical care setting. Responsible for providing direct patient care to specific patient populations effectively using the nursing process - Assessment, Planning, Implementation & Continual Reassessment - as the foundation for care delivery. Serves as a patient advocate; effectively coordinates care and continually promotes safety and clinical / service quality in daily practice.

      Job Description:

      EDUCATION

      • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

      • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing


      CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

      • RN-Registered Nurse of California

      • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

      • NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider preferred

      • ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

      • PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support


      PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

      • Previous experience as an RN in an acute care hospital desirable but not required.

      SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

      • Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.

      • Requires excellent critical thinking, communication skills , relationship skills, and clinical / technical expertise in area of specialty.

      Pay Range is $75.78 to $102.56 / hour

      The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
