      Role: Staff Nurse, IPU

      Hours: 36 hours per week

      Contract: Permanent

      Salary: £32,914.70 - £36,882.48 per annum (£33,829-£37,907 per annum)

      As a Staff Nurse you will work closely with managers and colleagues to ensure that the service delivers high quality, evidence-based specialist palliative care to patients and their families, with care, compassion and dignity. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in Palliative Care and experience of providing holistic care in a healthcare setting.

      Suitable candidates will hold a first level registered general nurse qualification.

      A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable.

      Main duties of the job

      The role is available working 36 hours per week over 3 long days (07:30am 20:30pm), on internal rotation. This includes 1 in 2 weekends and 12 weeks of nights a year. Night shift hours: 20:00pm 08:00am.

      Salary: £32,914.70 - £36,882.48 per annum (£33,829-£37,907 per annum)
