We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse - Same Day Emergency Care who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are currently reconfiguring our SDEC services into a new build, which will provide a flow out of UECC along with our GP referrals. This provides exciting opportunities for new ways of working and progression.

We are excited to offer this opportunity to a band 5 Staff Nurse within Same day Emergency care for Medicine. The Staff nurse will join a team of SDEC Clinical Nurse specialists, staff nurses and health care assistants to support a rapidly changing service.
The appointed candidate will be supported by all members of the team and the nurse team manager.
The service operates from 8am-midnight seven day working 365 days a year.
You will work collaboratively with the senior team in SDEC to deliver effective high quality safe patient centred care.
Main duties of the job
We will support you in your continuing education, training and professional development for the staff, to promote the acquisition of new skills and knowledge ensuring that nursing staff acquire and maintain the professional standards and competencies when caring for people.
To participate as a member of the nursing team in providing a high standard of care. To provide support to the team of staff working in the area in order to deliver a quality service which is linked to high standard of patient care.
