- BS in Environmental Sciences / Soil Science / Geology / Environmental Engineering or related science major
- 0 – 3 years of applicable environmental experience
- Familiarity with applicable environmental legislation
- Mechanical aptitude that is suitable for working on remediation systems including troubleshooting pumps, blowers, and motors. Advanced engineering is not mandatory but finding enjoyment in fixing mechanical problems and tinkering with equipment is a must.
- Able to work independently at remote locations to troubleshoot issues with sampling equipment and produce results
- Ability to multi-task with multiple projects or assignments
- Excellent project management, planning, organizational skills, and effective time management are a must
- Membership of Relevant Professional Body preferred.

About the Position
We are currently seeking an Environmental Staff Professional for a newly established EHS consulting operation based in the United Kingdom.
As the Environmental Staff Professional, you will play a pivotal role within our expanding EHS Team. Your primary responsibilities will be to support project teams on a variety of project assignments including site remediation activities, technical and safety oversight of subcontractors, permitting, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and sample collection. Tasks could include preparing work and health and safety plans; conducting soil and groundwater investigations and sampling; remediation system operation and maintenance; data entry, management, and analyses; and preparation of reports in a variety of formats.

Our newly established EHS consulting operation in Leeds, United Kingdom will be supported by our sister company, Antea Group USA.
This position will be a hybrid role based either onsite at Antea offices or client premises in the United Kingdom Some project locations will require overnight travel (up to 25%). The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK.
