Selected individual will become part of the Shop Floor Control team in Palmdale. Candidate will join a select group of individuals who are responsible for providing Production Control support to one or more Palmdale programs.
Will utilize MRP (Material Resource Planning), preferably SAP and the Palmdale order location system (SFM) to review and adjust shop schedules.
Will coordinate and balance multiple sources of demands along with coordinating capacity planning constraint resolution and incorporating corresponding resolution into SAP.
Will forecast supply - demand mismatches; communicate up and down supply chain to support demands/supply matching.
Will attend / chair status meetings advising management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
Must have the ability to resolve issues that may arise in the manufacturing process by interfacing with all supporting organizations.
Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Candidate must have the ability to acquire a Secret Clearance, after starting this role.

Must have experience with SAP
Relevant Information Technology skills, such as data analytics and reporting
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and obtain Special Program Access per business requirements Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
Experience within a Union Environment
Constraint Management experience
Lean Six Sigma, black belt or green belt
Project Management experience
