What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and maintain web applications for the employer's product line, ensuring high-quality code
- Solve complex technical issues for merchants, customers, and partners to enhance user experience
- Develop and implement automated tests to maintain code quality
- Lead initiatives to improve engineering best practices and promote system scalability
- Foster a supportive engineering culture by mentoring team members and encouraging collaboration
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 2+ years of experience solving complex technical problems at the Staff-level
- Proven hands-on experience building web applications and APIs
- Experience in environments with continuous integration and deployment processes
- Strong ability to engage in crucial conversations and provide constructive feedback
