      Overview

      We are looking to hire an accomplished Full-stack Engineer. You will be responsible for designing, architecting, and developing client facing applications for BHN Development Productivity Platform. The desired candidate will have an excellent understanding of web and cloud technology.

      Responsibilities

      • Applies creative design, analytical and problem-solving skills to design around developer experiences that meet aesthetic, functional and technical requirements.
      • Has a strong experience working with cloud technologies using infrastructure as code approach. AWS preferred.
      • Has a strong grasp of integrating application front-ends with server-side code and Web Services / APIs.
      • Understanding of building scalable backend APIs in a microservice architecture in AWS.
      • Manage security and scalability of the Development Productivity Platform products through their lifecycle.
      • Promptly resolves design deficiencies and defects reported by key stakeholders and quality assurance resources.
      • Actively supports an agile approach and operates as a core member of an Agile Scrum team including interfacing with key business representatives.
      • Participates in all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration demos and retrospectives.

      Qualifications

      • 3+ years of experience developing for Full Stack Applications with progressively increasing responsibilities.
      • 8+ years of experience in software development using object-oriented techniques with languages of Python or Java.
      • 3+ years of experience developing cloud-based applications hosted on AWS.
      • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodology for infrastructure provisioning.
      • Practical experience with CI/CD.
      • Extensive experience interfacing with Web Services, specifically REST APIs with JSON handling.
      • Experience and understanding of relational databases and caching solutions like MySQL and Redis.
      • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment is required.
      • Understanding of multi-tier, client-side and server-side development patterns, tools, and technologies.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, motivational and facilitation skills.
      • 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, graphic design, or related discipline.

      Benefits

      Salary Range for California Residents Only: $157,030.00 to $190,000.00
