  Job Description

  • Develop software for mobile platforms by gathering architecture, driving solutions, designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing embedded software solutions.
  • Review existing software architecture, identifying and resolving defects to improve and maintain mobile applications and services CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Perform low-level and high-level comprehensive programming, hardware bring up, hardware design reviews, firmware computability tuning to match internal specific product standards, including product system performance tuning, enhancement, debugging, and productive tools development and manufactory flow optimization.
  • Design and implement state of art power management solutions and enhance user experience for Land Mobile Radios.
  • Lead and drive.
  • kernel source upgrade activity for the next generation two-way radio, including software migration, existing solutions optimization and resign, performance review, and crack down compatibility issues.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate activities focused on design, development, coding, testing, research, programming and documentation for software systems, applications and/or operating systems in conjunction with equipment designers and/or hardware developers.
  • Perform modeling, designing & coding activities, employing structured methods.
  • Review design documentation for all levels of the software development process.
  • Create and execute unit, integration, system, regression, performance, load and acceptance test plans and scripts.
  • Perform software system testing procedures and documentation of results.
  • Analyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within quality assurance, time and cost constraints.
  • Participate in formal design and implementation activities.
  • Develop requirements, code & create unit and other automated testing solutions.
  • Provide engineering management with accurate effort estimates for projected work.

  Target Base Salary Range: $148,949 - $166,200 USD

  
  Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

  • Masters Degree + 2 years experience or
  • Bachelors Degree + 5 years experience.
