  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Set technical strategy vision for your team over a multi-year timeframe, aligning it with critical business-impacting projects
  - Collaborate across teams in the product development lifecycle to ensure technical sustainability and manage risks
  - Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes to act as a force-multiplier for your team
  - Take ownership of team operations and availability, ensuring proper monitoring, triage rotations, and alerting systems are in place
  - Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards, and advocating them through writing and tech talks
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using scripting and development languages like Bash, Python, or Kotlin
  - Extensive experience in developing highly available distributed systems using technologies such as AWS, MySQL, Spark, and Kubernetes
  - Proven track record of managing and improving the Incident Lifecycle process from live incident management through post-incident analysis
  - 7+ years of experience in Site Reliability or Production Engineering teams
  - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with global engineering teams and stakeholders
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience delivering major features or system components, including defining technical and execution plans
  - Ability to thrive in ambiguity and understand both low-level language idioms and large system architectures
  - Demonstrated mastery in gathering and iterating on feedback from engineering and cross-functional peers
