What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical leadership for cybersecurity program strategy and software development
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of security solutions for Vulnerability Management initiatives
- Deliver automation initiatives and develop proofs of concept to enhance security capabilities
- Develop and maintain multilevel cybersecurity designs, architectures, policies, and procedures
- Mentor peers and team members in security technologies and effective customer interaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in building large-scale distributed systems
- 4+ years of experience with architecture and design in a tech lead role
- 4+ years of experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard security tools and frameworks including MITRE, CIS, and NIST
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or equivalent education with work experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Development and leadership experience in the Cybersecurity domain, preferably in Vulnerability Management Engineering
- Specialization in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, Python, or C#
- Experience with application performance monitoring tools and performance assessments
- Professional security certification (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP) is a plus
- Foundational knowledge of security best practices for system design and development
