      Role Summary

      As a Staff Technical Recruiter at Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier engineering talent for our technical teams. Your expertise will ensure we continue to build cutting-edge software and hardware solutions that drive the future of sustainable mobility. In this role, you'll partner closely with hiring managers and technical leaders to craft effective hiring strategies, build strong talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. You'll leverage your deep understanding of engineering roles to assess technical expertise and cultural alignment.       Responsibilities

      • Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies for software, mechanical, electrical engineering and other business critical roles.
      • Source, screen, and evaluate candidates specializing in a variety of software and hardware engineering disciplines.
      • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines, in close strategic partnership with our sourcing team, through outbound sourcing, networking, and engagement with diverse candidate pools.
      • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams, while adhering to all requirements of the hiring process, including all policies and SOPs.
      • Conduct technical screenings to evaluate candidates' expertise in software, mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
      • Partner with the People Team and hiring managers to ensure alignment with Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies's culture and values.
      • Build and maintain accurate data reporting and utilize data-driven insights to refine recruitment strategies and optimize hiring processes.
      • Represent Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies at industry events, career fairs, and networking opportunities to build the company's employer brand.

      Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Engineering).
      • 7+ years of deep experience in technical recruiting, with a focus on software, mechanical and/or electrical engineering roles.
      • Proven ability to source and engage top-tier engineering talent through various channels.
      • Strong understanding of engineering disciplines such as software and vehicle systems, mechanical design, and electrical hardware.
      • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
      • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
