      Purpose Statement: To perform engineering design services and other related product development and/or product commercialization support services.

      Key Job Accountabilities:

      • Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their engineering discipline; and/or regarded as a cross-discipline leader and mentor for product development.
      • Achieves in all phases of the full product realization process, as it applies to their role.
      • Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid-size projects.
      • Leads local continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project-level tools or processes.
      • Provides Customer Service leadership in project technical discussions, business development and proposal creation.

      Additional Accountabilities:

      • Effectively perform all of the Job Accountabilities and Functions of an Engineer Senior.
      • Leads the evaluation and improvement of processes, tools, and methodologies using Lean Sigma concepts and tools to ensure best practices are used throughout the functional group and the design center.
      • Possess and demonstrate the Plexus Values (Customer Focus, Relationships and Teamwork, Excellence, Open Communication, and Integrity).

      Education/Experience Qualifications:

      • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher is preferred.
      • Eight (8) years of related experience is required; Eight (8) or more years of related experience is preferred.

      An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
