      Staff VP Pharma Contract Strategy

      Location:

      Ideal Candidate will live 50 Miles from a Pulse point location.

      Summary

      Leads all aspects of pharmaceutical service contract negotiations with pharmaceutical companies including development of strategic objectives, proposal assessment, pro forma analyses, competitive proposal analyses, contract development, and ongoing contract monitoring. Role will oversee Trade Sales and Pharma Contracting efforts.

      Position Responsibilities

      • Leads Pharmaceutical Manufacturer relationship and growth strategy.
      • Develops excellent working relationships with pharmaceutical company personnel.
      • Leads Trade Sales organization for continued LDD access and pharma program growth.
      • Oversees Pharma Contracting strategy and process.
      • Develop and leads Biosimilar market evolution strategy.
      • Maintains contract compliance documentation.
      • Leads implementation of corporate initiatives, including special project planning and budget management.
      • Identifies information needs and technologies.
      • Resolves complex or politically sensitive issues.
      • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.

      Position Requirements

      Requires a BA/BS degree in Pharmacy or Business Administration/Finance and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical rebate contracting. Trade Sales experience required. Seven+ years of business experience; management experience is also required; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

      Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences

      • MBA strongly preferred.
      • Manufacturer, GPO, Sourcing/Procurement, contracting experience,

      For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is 204,000. To 367,200.
