      Food Services Starbucks Barista

      Expected Starting Hourly Range: $16.89-20.00/hr

      Shift: full-time day shift (2:00-10:30pm). Times are subject to change. Every other weekend required.

      Responsibilities

      Duties - On assigned shift serves as the functional lead. Ensure that work area is organized, safe and clean. Identifies potential problems and solves problems at the lowest possible level demonstrating accountability of self and others. Proactively contributes to a positive work environment. Actively participates in effective problem solving. Deals with issues directly, constructively and tactfully. Responsible for day-to-day needs of co-workers and department. Works cooperatively with managers & co-workers, assisting where needed. Provide managers with positive feedback to enhance productivity.

      Operations - Assures that proper food handling, temperature readings, and sanitation procedures are followed. Assures that function set-up sheets and room set-ups are read and interpreted correctly and completed in a timely manner. Assures that Banquet set-ups are completed in a timely manner according to plans. Responsible to maintain room cleanliness and equipment repair. Maintains excellent customer service, while meeting our guests requests.

      Communication - Effectively demonstrates communication skills related to conveying relevant information. Develop and maintain efficient internal communication processes to support the activities of the Department. Keep key leadership fully informed of issues in a timely manner.

      Customer Service - Serves as the first line of contact and a resource. Demonstrates effective customer service to employees and/or visitors. Directs major customer satisfaction issues to the coordinator or manager.

      Safety - Maintain safety program within the department. Ensure safety concerns are reported appropriately.

      Required:

      • 3 years of work experience in a related job discipline
      Preferred:
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • May Require Valid/Good-Standing Drivers License
