      Job Description:

      A leading commercial construction company specializing in steel erection for commercial and industrial projects has an immediate opening for a Steel Erector

      Foreman. As a Steel Erector Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of steel erectors to ensure the successful completion of

      various construction projects. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

      Pay:

      • $30-45/hour

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead and supervise a team of steel erectors in the erection of steel structures.
      • Interpret and execute blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
      • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
      • Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
      • Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets to meet project timelines.
      • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site.
      • Operate cranes, hoists, and other equipment as needed.
      • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the erection process.
      • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel erection, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
      • Strong understanding of steel erection processes, techniques, and equipment.
      • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
      • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
      • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
      • Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
      • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Valid driver’s license.
