Job Description

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Unload, position, and secure steel components using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment.
- Bolt or weld steel pieces together following engineering plans.
- Work safely at heights using harnesses and fall protection.
- Structural steel experience.
- Rigging experience.
- Steel erection and construction experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of steel erection experience, with 3 years preferred.
- 3 years of previous commercial construction experience required.
- Ability to work at heights while 100% tied off at all times.
- Welding proficiency.
- Rigging and welding certifications (3G or higher) are preferred and will be compensated at a higher wage.
- Lifting and rigging experience, with certifications preferred but not required.
Steel Erector- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP
Pay: $27/hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm
Our company is looking for a motivated and skilled Steel Erector to join our team! As a Steel Erector, you will play a vital role in the construction of commercial buildings. Your primary responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications. You will be tasked with unloading, positioning, and securing steel components using cranes, hoists, and rigging equipment. You will bolt or weld steel pieces together following engineering plans and work safely at heights using harnesses and fall protection.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00/hr.
