- Lead and assist the Member Services team to deliver exceptional service and support to our members.
- Serve as the cooperative’s Energy Advisor , providing expert guidance on energy efficiency, renewable options, and rebate programs for residential and commercial members
- Develop and implement energy efficiency programs, rebates, and load management initiatives
- Manage and grow relationships with key commercial and industrial accounts as the main liaison, supporting energy management initiatives and ensuring service reliability that supports economic growth
- Oversee commercial billing
- Collaborate with internal departments to align strategic goals and enhance the cooperative’s value to its members.
- Respond to negative member feedback, inquiries, and concerns with care and professionalism
- Oversee community outreach by representing REMC at community events, meetings, and educational forums
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- BPI or equivalent certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cooperative or utility setting, including but not limited to utility account management or energy advising
- Familiarity with GIS, SCADA, AMI, and billing software (NISC preferred).
