- Minimum of a Diploma or Technical diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Geography, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 2 years related work experience in the field of project administration or project management, civil design or construction, or contract management, which must include;
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Geography, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 4 or more years related work experience
- Experience using the Project Management Methodology as practiced by the Project Management Institute.
- Experience in project cost tracking
- Experience working in the transportation sector
- Experience in risk-based contingency management

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure plans and improves transportation networks, builds new infrastructure, provides transportation services, and implements transportation policies, to allow for the safe and efficient movement of people and goods.
The Project Management Technician will provide technical and administrative project management coordination functions and assist and support day to day functions of project delivery to ensure completion of assigned Capital and Rehabilitation projects on schedule and within budget. Participates with project teams in organizing projects throughout the project management life-cycle (i.e. initiation, planning, execution, control, and close-out).
Job Requirements:
o Experience in budgeting
o Experience using Microsoft Office
o Experience doing project scheduling utilizing software such as MS Project
o Experience dealing with internal clients, consultants, contractors and the publicPreference may be given to applicants with 1 or more of the following:
