      Our team in Lutterworth currently has an opening for a Stock Controller

      As a Procurement Specialist, it will be your responsibility to:

      • Manage Alerts and place purchase orders using the M4 system and action repository.
      • Process low stock reports by supplier.
      • Actively utilise M4 and other system reports to liaise with PM on stocking levels, requirements, co-ordination of haulage, cost savings whilst maintaining OTIF.
      • Manage and achieve stock KPI’s/working capital target limits.
      • Act as key stock contact for all speciality stock.
      • Actively pursue any opportunities to improve communication, working relationships and supply chain opportunities.
      • Utilise transport/haulage system to ensure stock is received on time and in full safely and at lowest costs.
      • Communicate with depots to ensure sales orders and purchase orders are confirmed.
      • Book in/Receipt where necessary all stock direct or indirect onto M4
      • Undertake a role in the creation of New Product Codes and New Supplier Codes and update M4 accordingly.
      • Liaise with other depots/customer services/sales/marketing/technical for supplying and procuring stock with appropriate authorisation and in mind of agreed working capital budgets
      • Act as key contact for product groups including resolution of invoice queries and internal queries.
      • Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate line managers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability

      You should have:

      • Previous experience in a similar role
      • Experience with communicating with internal teams & external suppliers
