Job Description
- Req#: R-012523
- Ensure daily Storage and Non- storage Mass Balancing of systems NAV, TMS, Retail NAV against physicals and posting of PIJ accurately and real time. Report possible theft or any significant variances over tolerable levels unexplained by responsible stakeholders to Supervisor.
- Monthly Stocks Reporting and closure of TMS on WD2 and NAV financial periods on WD5 of new month. Ensure Puma systems NAV, TMS, Retail NAV and E-puma data are accurate in sales and other movements and Accounts Receivable Statements are run on WD2 of new month. Any delays to targeted timelines inform Supervisor immediately.
- Closely monitoring, report and account accurately obsolete, damaged, spills, off spec and contaminated stocks in a timely manner and accurately.
- Ensure daily stringent stocks monitoring and balancing is ongoing, there is good team collaboration, leading by example and achieving targets for the day, week and month.
- Comply to Puma Policies at all times and ensuring HSSE is maintained at zero tolerance
- Travel as and when requested by the business and assist with External Audit Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or similar or Accounting certificates with over 5 years’ experience
- At least 2 years minimum exposure and experience in inventory control background.
- Good working experience with NAV/TMS/Retail NAV and E-puma. Emphasis on FIFO system
- Flexibility for business travel
- Good PC Skills with Microsoft applications of Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and two years' experience preferably in sales or location environment.

- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and able to negotiate
- Able to complete required tasks from start to finish
- Internal – Finance Country Manager, Chief Accountant, GL accountants, NGE Controller, Operations Managers, BSM, Supply and CSC Managers, Terminal Supervisors and Internal Audit Manager
- External – Business engaged External Auditors
Main Purpose:
To ensure Puma inventories in bulk fuels, pack fuels, lubricants, LPG packs and Bitumen are safe guarded from loss or theft. Responsible for daily stock balancing via ERP systems and manuals for offline and online locations. Ensuring all stock movement types in sales, purchases, production orders, and transfers in/out, stock adjustments automated/ manually posted are accurately processed real time into NAV. Performing Daily, Weekly and Monthly monitoring, checks and balances to ensuring that loss/gains are minimal and within by product tolerable levels to achieve objective of preventing significant losses or theft.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
