  Job Summary:

  This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing Managed Services Provider. This individual will be customer-facing and responsible for monitoring and management of large, complex global enterprise IT infrastructure. This individual will be supported by a remote 24x7 team but will periodically be on call for quarterbacking resolutions of Severity 1 issues. In the eyes of the customer, this individual will be the subject matter expert and the point of contact ensuring the success of a 7-figure managed services contract.

  Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage storage solutions to meet business needs for larger enterprise customer environments.
  • Monitor storage infrastructure performance and provide capacity planning.
  • Administer and support SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across storage platforms.
  • Perform data backup and recovery operations.
  • Optimize storage systems for efficiency and performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for storage procedures and configurations.

  Qualifications & Experience:

  Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in storage engineering or a related role.
  • Strong expertise in SAN, NAS, and cloud storage technologies.
  • Experience with storage performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of data backup and recovery strategies.
  • Familiarity with storage security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  Preferred:

  • Linux / Unix experience
  • Extensive experience in networking systems and managing systems integrations
  • Prior experience with LogicMonitor, New Relic, DataDog, Big Panda, DynaTrace, or similar technologies.
  • Certifications from EMC, Dell, HPE on Storage / Compute technology
  • Experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience producing business relevant presentations and technical oriented writing.
  • Knowledge of IT governance and compliance frameworks.
