Job Description

- To receive, check and put away all incoming goods ensuring that any damaged / short-dated items are not accepted and are reported to your line manager
- To store/ maintain / manage all goods safely and in the correct location
- To make local and national deliveries as per the BPAS delivery schedule. Planning the most efficient route
- To collect returns, archiving, IT & Estates items from BPAS units to be returned to the Redditch NDC for storage
- Ensure picking is completed via the handheld terminal
- To participate in stocktaking, annually and assisting units
- To undertake the unloading, systematic filing, and logging of client case notes boxes

Job summary
Are you looking for a role that combines inventory control, warehouse duties, and delivering to locations across the UK?
BPAs are looking for a Store Person / Driver to join the Supply-Chain, Logistics & Procurement team. You will be an essential part of the team, ensuring that vital supplies reach our units across the UK. This role is for 36 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
Working from our Redditch Distribution Centre, you will handle goods receipt, inventory control, order picking, packing, and shipping, while also making local and national deliveries. Your role will also involve maintaining safe storage practices, carrying out regular stock checks, and upholding the high standards required for managing temperature-controlled and hazardous materials.
About You:
We are looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse operations and stock control, who holds a clean car or van driving licence. You will have a logical and organised approach to your work, along with driving and navigation skills. Ideally, you'll have knowledge of manual handling, stock control systems, and COSHH regulations, though training will be provided.
