      About the Role

      Store Planners execute data analysis to create strategies for stores with the goal of delivering sales and margin growth. They partner with cross-functional teams to develop and manage store plans that support brand strategies. Further, they maximize sales and profitability by influencing inventory investments through location-based analysis. Store Planners serve as a liaison with brand functional teams (Merchandising, Planning, and Finance). Planners develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends to introduce continual process, tool and methodology improvements. Lastly, they proactively surface and communicate business issues.

      • Develop pre-season and pre-allocation store inventory depth targets by category
      • Analyze and recap business results at the store/category/attribute level to determine appropriate inventory position and assortment strategies
      • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product strategies to store groups to ensure equitable inventory distribution
      • Capture seasonal themes across geographies, assortment levels, climates and volume groups, while using learnings to influence future inventory plans and assortment strategies
      • Conduct analysis on merchandise assortment, optimal CC count & inventory levels to maximize unit productivity at the store level
      • Articulate point of view and strategy to Field & Inventory Management peers and leaders
      • Maintain systemic data through multiple tool sets to reflect store sales trends
      • Collaborate with fellow teammates and share best practices when working on projects that support the broader team deliverables
      • Ensure timely and effective communication of key timelines, deliverables, and expectations to cross-functional team members
      • Partner with Manager to balance workload and priorities; solicit decision guidance when needed.

      Who You Are

      Who you are

      • 2 to 4 yrs. of experience in inventory management, business strategy, store operations, supply chain management or related fields preferred
      • Competency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and the ability to learn new applications quickly
      • Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude
      • Supply chain or retail software product and logistics flow knowledge is highly desirable
      • BA/BS in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Economics or equivalent combination of skills and experience
      • Strong communicator with a high comfort level with managing change and collaboration
