      ERM is hiring a Stormwater Inspector to conduct Construction General Permit (CGP) weekly/storm inspections and prepare inspection reports in Laredo, TX. This position will have a combination of office and field effort tasks. This is a part-time (4 hours per week), limited-term role with a duration of 2 months, with possibility of extension.

      RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Plan, organize and perform the permitting, inspection, monitoring, and data management of storm water, in accordance with federal and Texas law, specifically the Construction General Permit (CGP).

      • Communicate with clients and recommend solutions and/or mitigation measures.

      • Ensure inspection quality and completion.

      • Assist in various environmental compliance tasks and reporting.

      • Maintain project/client files and records.

      • Prepare regulatory reports and correspondence.

      • Incorporate constructive feedback thoroughly to improve inspections and reporting.

      • Collaborate with construction team to keep clients in compliance with CGP requirements.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • 0 – 1+ years’ experience with conducting Construction General Permit (CGP) weekly/storm inspections.

      • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.

      • Demonstrate strong communication skills.

      • Willing to travel short or long distances for field efforts.

      • Demonstrate strong understanding of safety measures and strategies to keep oneself and others safe specially during driving and field efforts.

      • Valid Driver’s License
