      Join us as a Strategic Fraud Manager

      • If you’re a fraud subject matter expert, and understand how to assist with strategic change to keep our customers safe from fraud and scams, this could be the role for you
      • Focusing on business and commercial customers, you’ll be supporting fraud and scams transformation and customer education plans, while protecting customers from unauthorised fraud and authorised push payment scams
      • This is an opportunity to bring a competitive edge to your profile by working with franchises on their SME capacity to help with their transformation and customer journey aspirations

      What you’ll do

      Working in Commercial & Institutional Banking, you’ll lead feature teams by applying Agile principles, delivering the wider fraud strategy by making effective prioritisation decisions, focusing on the backlog and making sure refund decisions align to policies for fair customer outcomes.

      You'll influence the Chapter Product Owners and Commercial & Institutional franchise through data-led recommendations for strategic investment. You’ll also support the development of our fraud refund policy, taking into account industry body views, to make sure customer outcomes are consistent.

      Your top priorities will include:

      • Focusing on trade finance, invoice finance and asset finance
      • Making sure insights are understood so action is taken to build wider team capabilities through coaching and sharing best practices within the Fraud CoE
      • Participating at relevant boards and external stakeholder forums to articulate fraud challenges that impact our bank and to provide accountability for identified risks
      • Providing SME input into key propositional changes in the Commercial & Institutional franchise while understanding key risks with support from fraud analytics before being signed off by governance mechanisms
      • Working with internal and external stakeholder partnerships across the Fraud CoE and wider businesses and providing SME support while driving media and customer education

      The skills you’ll need

      To be successful in this role, you’ll have broad fraud prevention experience and knowledge of fraud systems, methodologies and processes.

      In addition, you’ll have knowledge of core fraud and scam threats that're in a financial services and broader commercial environment. As well as this, you'll need an understanding of available tools that can mitigate threats.

      Furthermore, you’ll need:

      • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders during projects
      • An understanding of business and commercial customers and products
      • Knowledge of how to plan, organise and deliver in a challenging environment
      • The ability to coach, lead, engage, support and motivate colleagues
