As the Bus CoE Strategic Project Manager, you will be the lead for strategic initiatives driving down cost and schedule across a range of programs, organizations, and vehicle architectures. Responsibilities include:
• Program manager for the LM2100 Platform Transformation, driving new technologies and approaches to evolve the largest satellites across a broad range missions and program maturities
• Drive new initiatives to programs in all phases. Coordinating between on-program, Center of Excellence, and other Central Organizations to justify, implement, and substantiate efforts
• Facilitate discussions between program and technical leadership across missions to drive common approaches and win-win scenarios to reduce cost and schedule
• Cost and schedule management for the project across a broad range of initiatives
• Develop material and get executive buy-in for investment allocations throughout the year
• Run the business reviews and performance reporting for IRAD projects
• Work closely with the Bus CoE Product Management and other organizations to support staffing needs for the team

• Experience leading projects that include development and implementation
• Program/Project Management experience with the ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to peers, management, and customers
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and to deliver products on schedule
• Experience converting strategy into products and deliverables • Leadership experience on new “go fast” development projects
• Familiarity with large satellite Bus architectures and systems
• Experience with budget management & subcontract management
• Experience with Engineering development processes and all phases of development life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and deployed system support)
• Proposal experience including authoring technical writeups and Basis of Estimates
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment and to effectively communicate with a diverse set of stakeholders about complex technical issues
