- Leverage cutting edge analytics (see below) to identify value growth opportunities. With a key focus on pricing architecture.
- Deep focus on promotion strategy, promotion budgets and promotion efficiencies.
- Support SRM Lead in preparing commercial scenario’s leveraging (advanced) analytics, category insights and supporting research.
- Propose and ensure clear execution guidelines, across the SRM levers (with Sales and Marketing) to secure perfect execution.
- Prepare monthly SRM Councils with SRM Director and key stakeholders.
- Build the playbook on promotion and trade promotion guidelines, with ROI and trial at the core.
- Apply global methodology in identifying Price, PPA, Promo, Mix, TT opportunities (across ecom, KA, distributor and NHP channels).
- Assess on a regular basis Brand/Customer/Channel performance and identify key levers and actions to improve.
- Track competitor and leading CPG companies’ SRM strategies (including analysis/decomposition of Rev. / MAC drivers).
- Identify areas of opportunity for Champion and create proposals on how to implement.
- Support other functions to include SRM insights in decisions by providing upskilling and business case support:
- Run function specific training programs in the perimeter.
- Provide insights through performance dashboards (e.g., Cockpit if available).
- Support Sales Teams to articulate clear sales arguments from SRM insights and plans.
- 4 years experience in a CPG company as a data or business analyst preferred.
- Economics background with experience in a data driven environment preferred.
- Ability to derive insights from analyses and shape recommendations, considering objectives, business environment, and synergies/interactions across SRM levers.
- Ability to forge strong relationships with broader commerce teams, and act as sparring partner.
- Comfortable challenging/defining solutions when relevant.
- Superior data & analytics skills, incl. ability to implement data collection systems and automize analysis solutions.
- Solid business/financial acumen and value-driven mindset.
- Core Marketing, Sales & Product understanding.

- US: $107,000 - $161,000 USD annual salary, annual bonus eligibility, 401k with company matching.

Here’s the scoop - Summary
The SRM Manager is a commercially savvy, insights driven role that works cross functionally to create and deliver strong holistic plans in order to fuel sustainable profitable growth and is accountable to generate transformative insights as well as identify new opportunities and proposals for Champion Petfoods.
Reporting directly to the SRM Director, this role is based in our Edmonton, AB or Broomfield, CO corporate office or TN, Nashville corporate Office, and works a hybrid schedule between in office and working from a home-based office.

Support SRM strategy & priority initiatives design and value growth delivery in line with Champion Petfoods Demand strategy (incl. KPIs & action plans):
Drive SRM opportunity identification for Champion Petfoods in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Marketing) and track SRM performance:
