      Baseline Requirements:
      * Currently enrolled as a university undergraduate student in Computer Science
      * Available to work part-time in Fall of 2023
      * Minimum 3.0 GPA
      * Able to work hybrid/in-office and within the Huntsville, AL area

      Description

      Candidates will work within an Agile Scrum-based engineering team focused on developing the next generation of an Electronic Datasheet for electrical and mechanical components. Candidates will be responsible for updating XML Schema definitions for electronics components based on various Standards – JEDEC, IPC, IEC, JETIA, etc., and also for the creation of 3D models related to the Standards. Successful candidates will gain a very detailed understanding of component interfaces, properties, and terminologies from this work. Required to work as an effective team member, contribute to team decisions, and support peers closely in the software development process.

      Qualifications
      Candidate should have exposure to 3D software and XML structures, with demonstrable experience designing scalable data structures representing electronic standards in a collaborative environment. Competency in electronics component knowledge is a requirement.

      Additional desirable knowledge includes any of the following:
      • XML Schema software,
      • Electrical component datasheets and standards
      • Software development process in an Agile Scrum development environment.

      • Operating systems: Windows, Linux
