      Job Summary:

      The Strategy and Business Development Content Director drives the development of market-specific solutions, capabilities, partnerships, and innovations within area of expertise to successfully position CareSource in existing and new markets. This role requires deep expertise in Medicaid program development, the ability to convey (both written and verbally) ideas and solutions, proficiency in managing complex capture and proposal processes, and strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams in developing comprehensive strategies.

      Essential Functions:

      • Leads cross-functional teams in developing cutting-edge programs, models, partnerships, and initiatives, driving growth, and capitalizing on emerging opportunities.
      • Works closely with current markets to identify areas of opportunity/gaps and develop and execute strategies to positively influence future procurement responses.
      • Conducts and reviews/analyzes market intelligence; state priorities, contract requirements, CMS regulations, policies, and regulatory landscape; and competitor activities to inform capture and proposal strategies.
      • Creates comprehensive project plans and roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones through effective cross-functional team coordination.
      • Understands competitor procurement responses and positioning to identify opportunities to enhance our procurement narrative / responses.
      • Leads or participates in the proposal response development process to ensure competitive, strategic, and compliant proposal responses for Medicaid procurements, in collaboration with leaders, additional subject matter experts, and writers.
      • Analyzes and gather data, metrics and outcomes to support evidence-based strategies and approaches in proposal responses.
      • Provides post-submission consultation on Medicaid proposals and prepares key personnel for oral presentations/negotiations.
      • Documents and conveys strategies/features to relevant teams, ensuring alignment and support for successful implementation.
      • Supports special/ad hoc projects and key initiatives.
      • Performs other job duties as requested

      Education and Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
      • Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration or related field is preferred
      • A minimum of five (5) years industry experience in Medicaid and large complex bid responses.
      • A minimum of three (3) years of project leadership, strategic planning, and execution experience.

      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to work with a team or independently in a fast-paced environment
      • Strong critical thinking, active listening, and problem-solving abilities
      • Strong analytical skills, effective problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
      • Ability to work in a fast-past environment

      • N/A

      Working Conditions:

      • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
      • Up to 35% travel may be required
      • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays as needed to meet deadlines, often with little notice

      Compensation Range:

      $110,800.00 - $193,800.00

      CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
