Strategy and Governance Analyst
London
As a Barclays Strategy and Governance Analyst, you will be providing support to the Wholesale Client Onboarding Service Management Office in executing strategic reviews across the function. In this role, you will be identifying opportunities for improvements through engagement with service leads and interrogation of operational data, detailed analysis to support appropriate solutions, and communicating complex issues and outcomes through concise summaries suitable for senior executive consumption.Barclays is one of the world's largest and most respected financial institutions, established in 1690, with a legacy of success, quality, and innovation. What will you be doing?
• Developing and managing the strategic roadmap for WCOB on a rolling 3-year basis, interlocked with stakeholders, functions, business change, transformation and Technology
• Assisting with the operational embedment of business level reporting and management information required to both run and report service performance
• Driving automation of manual reporting working closely with support partners (Data & MI, Business Management)
• Supporting the industrialisation of capacity & scheduling capability, providing operational capacity forecasting, 3 year rolling refresh schedule and planned operational shrinkage
• Managing leadership and stakeholders across WCOB-multiple services across business units and functions in global sites with many stakeholders being Directors and above
• Helping in the development of end to end reporting including areas outside of TC01 ownership such as Legal, Credit, Tax, Middle Office Operations and Front Office
• Assisting with ‘ad-hoc’ information requests; create, collate, comment and distribute sr. stakeholder MI/updates
What we’re looking for• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and leverage relationships
• Solid presentational abilities with examples of producing senior executive summaries of complex problems
• Excellent social, communication, presentation and influencing skills
• Solid grasp of Barclays’ Businesses, Products, Processes and TechnologySkills that will help you in the role
• Knowledge of KYC and Onboarding
• Project Management/Governance expertise, with experience in managing multiple workstreams and governance forums
