      CORE JOB SUMMARY
      The Strategy & Transformation Sr. Associate contributes to UHealth’s success by providing insight & analytical support for key strategy/strategic planning initiatives and plays an integral role in helping define the future of the enterprise and drive critical business initiatives through analysis and communication of data. The incumbent drives analysis, workstreams, and small-to-medium initiatives, independently identifying and executing actions.

      The Strategy & Transformation Sr. Associate manages the lifecycle for assigned workstreams and projects including idea generation, initiative scoping & standup, approach and workplan development, analysis on priority topics, financial modeling, presentation development / delivery, and follow-through to value delivery and crafts and executes data-based insights and influences a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams.

      CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
      1. Acts as a strategic consultant/advisor for the broader UHealth enterprise.
      2. Leads, and influences the formulation and delivery of strategic projects and initiatives. Creates project design and analytics approach for review by strategy leadership. Oversees and manages multiple work streams/projects efficiently. Develops strategic objectives, frameworks, and associated metrics to allow a ‘strategic view’ of organizational or specific initiative progress. Proactively identifies and executes next steps for leadership review.
      3. Leverages knowledge, skills and relationships to develop frameworks, conduct analysis, generate insights, and communicate those insights to support / influence strategy and transformation agenda.
      4. Independently manages, manipulates, and analyzes multiple large and complex financial, operational, and strategic data sets and sources. Supports design of - and independently executes - quantitative and qualitative assessments and conducts primary research to support strategy development. Distills analytical findings into actionable insights. Frames analysis and next steps when problems are ambiguous and/or there is limited data available.
      5. Synthesizes analytics and key insights into presentation-ready documents, taking into account varying audiences and overall presentation objectives. Presents findings to S&T team & mid-senior stakeholder groups; Develops presentations that will be presented to large audiences, including UM/UHealth’s executive leadership team.
      6. Develops and maintains an understanding of strategic issues facing UM/UHealth through analyzing trends, horizon scanning, and building relationships with colleagues across the organization
      7. Collaborates and builds rapports with all levels of the organization ensuring a positive image is conveyed to internal and external partners and stakeholders. Develops ability to influence peers and leaders across the organization.
      8. Solicits and incorporates feedback effectively; understands different perspectives within the organization.
      9. Utilizes internal and external software/tools to gather and extract data and applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, others) to interpret, analyze, and visualize high level data.
      10. Demonstrates high emotional intelligence with deftness in navigating complex organizations with multiple stakeholders.
      11. Contributes to team’s work and culture, supports colleagues, builds collective capabilities of S&T team, and plays a vocal part in team meetings.
      12. Manages/supervises/develops interns as assigned. Serves as peer mentor to team members.
      13. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets

      CORE QUALIFICATIONS
      Education:
      Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

      Experience:
      Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required

      Certification and Licensing:
      Refer to department description for applicable certification requirements
