- Perform a functional team role in one or more assignments during the internship period.
- Learn the major functions of a departmental assignment through guided hands on work in various areas, and interaction with others.
- Attend and actively participate in internship group meetings, discussions, and events.
- Provide constructive feedback to the department, human resources, and school about how the Kaiser internship can be enhanced for future interns.
Location:
This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address:3495 Piedmont Road, Nine Piedmont Center, Atlanta, GA 30305
Department Description:
Develop Business Cases, validate financial implications, determine improvement initiatives, market research. rate setting, market planning, business cycle analysis and development.
Internship Project(s):
Wide variety of work including supporting analytical functions for strategic initiatives and market planning, facilitating business case development, executing on project work.
Target Majors:
Public Health; Healthcare Administration; Finance & Accounting; Business Administration; Math/Statistics; Data Science
Target Skills:
Microsoft suite proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint), critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, data analysis, communication and collaboration skills, presentation and executive presence.
Job Summary:The Intern will gain hands on experience within an assigned department by working in various roles on closely monitored work assignments. The scope and depth of the roles will be appropriate for the organization, and suitable for the Interns educational background, interests, and experience.
