Join our newly created Strategy Team and participate in defining the technological future of travel and tourism!

Technology is the force of disruption in every industry today, including travel. As such, the technology strategy is a foundational pillar of the success of Amadeus business and the responsibility of its engineering leadership team.

Strategy team formulates the vision of Technology Organizations to serve Amadeus, customers and partners, while working closely with the CTO, leaders of technology and business units as well as central functions. As part of the team, Strategy Consultant supports the Head of CTO Strategy, in delivering strategic insights and recommendations for senior leadership to make key decisions.

Your main responsibilities

• Drive project streams and independent projects:

  • Structure a stream / project and conduct appropriate analysis leveraging strategic toolset

  • Conduct expert interviews and facilitate workshops

  • Manage the relationships with key stream / project counterparts

  • Present strategic recommendations and ensure buy-in of relevant stakeholders

• Contribute to strategic initiatives driven by Business Units and Corporate Strategy

• Work as a team member & proactively support others when needed (e.g., innovation team, Tech Watch, communications)

• Lead the recruitment and mentorship of a trainee, accompanying him/her along the internship in the team

About our ideal candidate

Education

Master’s degree or MBA from a renowned academic institution with excellent academic record

Relevant work experience

3+ years in Tier 1-2 Management Consulting Firm or Strategy function with Workstream / Project management responsibilities

Specific competencies

• Ability to break down and solve complex problems in collaboration with senior leadership team

• Confirmed interest in technology topics

• Strong team player with extensive international work experience

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English; Knowledge of French, Spanish or German is a plus.
