USPI is comprised of over 500 ambulatory surgery centers and 25 surgical hospitals with continued growth planned.       We are looking for a Strategy Intern to support our USPI team in strategy initiatives. This will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience while you integrate knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and develop your skills in a professional setting.

      Program Overview:

      • Full-Time, Paid Internship
      • Onsite in Dallas, TX
      • June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025

      Qualifications

      • Prefer candidates at the junior, senior, or graduate student level pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, Analytics or a similar major with strong communication and data analysis skills.
      • Exhibits exceptional verbal, written and interactive communication skills.
      • Demonstrates effective research tactics, good organizational skills.
      • Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality.
      • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers.
      • Commits to continuous learning; being self‐motivated and self‐ directed.
      • Ability to work independently with sense of urgency to task completion.
      • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
      • Strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to identify process improvements with an interest in researching and comparing solutions, working on RFPs and providing recommendations to the management team.
      • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel (advanced skills preferred) and Outlook.
      • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
      • Interest in learning about healthcare, corporate development, strategy.

      • Bi-weekly check ins with Manager on performance & objectives.
      • Willingness to promote academic, career and personal development.
