Job Description

The Structural Designer 1 position requires 0-5 years heavy industrial/power plant experience. Job responsibilities include producing design drawings for structural steel, reinforced concrete, preparing layouts and conceptual designs, and preparing fabrication drawings. Skillsets and expertise required for this position include being proficient using AutoCAD, extensive 3D modeling experience is a plus, steel/concrete detailing, and the ability to build effective relationship with design engineering staff and/or vendors. Individual must live within 1 hour of The Energy Center. Able to work 1 to 2 weeks in the office at the beginning and can then work remotely after learning what we do.
