- Design and analyze structural systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Conduct structural analysis using software and manual calculations.
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software.
- Perform seismic retrofit and design structures to withstand seismic forces.
- Collaborate with project teams and conduct site visits.
- Prepare technical reports and communicate results to clients.
- Guide junior engineers and stay updated with industry standards.
- Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred.
- 3-5 years of structural engineering experience, focusing on commercial and mixed-use buildings.
- Proficient in ETABS, AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of materials like wood, concrete, steel, masonry; seismic retrofit experience.
- Understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Teamwork and project management skills.
- EIT, PE, or SE license is a plus.
