      Job Title: Licensed Structural Project Engineer

      Job Description

      Join a dynamic multi-discipline engineering consultant firm in Lakewood as a licensed structural project engineer. You will be responsible for producing designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings, with a focus on structural design. This role is perfect for those passionate about design work and eager to grow into a project manager position under the guidance of the current structural lead.

      Responsibilities

      • Produce designs for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.
      • Collaborate directly with the structural lead on design projects.
      • Conduct structural analysis and design calculations.
      • Design structures using wood, steel, and concrete materials.
      • Utilize software tools such as Autocad and Revit for design work.

      Essential Skills

      • 5-10 years of structural design experience.
      • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); Structural Engineer (SE) license is strongly preferred.
      • Proficiency in structural design and analysis.
      • Experience with wood, steel, and concrete structure design.
      • Competency in using Autocad and Revit.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in designing and calculating for commercial, residential, and light industrial buildings.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

      Work Environment

      The firm offers a flexible work schedule allowing for 4-day workweeks, with Fridays off. The office operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Friday being optional work from home if needed. This is a smaller firm with approximately 30-40 employees, fostering a close-knit community between field and office staff.

      The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
