  POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE u00A0

  Reporting to theu00A0 Director of Product Development u2013 Piping Movement Design,u00A0 the Structural Engineer will act as a subject matter expert within Victaulic's growing Piping Movement Design Engineering group and be responsible for providing structural calculations andu00A0 designing structural products to support Victaulicu2019s piping system solutions.

  u00A0 RESPONSIBILITIESu00A0

  • u00A0 Review customer system requirements and offer Victaulic product solutions for piping system design needs.
  • u00A0 Provide structuralcalculations.
  • u00A0 Design pipe support products such as pipe anchors, skids, guides, bracing, small structures such as skids, etc.
  • u00A0 Identify and develop new products to bring new technologies and solutions to the industry.
  • u00A0 Visit field installations to assist customers in using Victaulic products and optimizing performance.
  • u00A0 Provide general support to sales organization including creating, organizing and conducting technical seminars.

  QUALIFICATIONS u00A0

  • u00A0 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering with 5-10 years structural engineering experience.
  • u00A0 PE License (Professional Engineer) required; S.E. License (Structural Engineer) preferred.
  • u00A0 Demonstrated experience in Project Management in building construction a plus.
  • u00A0 Experience with a designer or manufacturer of structural products a plus.
  • u00A0 Experience in the design and build process, or work experience with an EPC preferred
  • u00A0 Strong skills with drafting software (such as AutoCAD) and experience with structural analysis software (such as STAAD or equivalent).
  • u00A0 Requires excellent communication skills and professional appearance, strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • u00A0 Ability to travel 5-10%
