- Prepare control systems (DCS and/or PLC) and instrument specifications.
- Prepare security and site camera system specifications.
- Develop detailed scope documents for upgrade/migration execution.
- Prepare instrumentation design deliverables, including Instrument List, Instrument Construction Specifications, Instrument Installation Details, and Instrument Location Plans.
- Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and equipment subcontract package specifications.
- Prepare instrument and control specifications requests for quotation (RFQ) and technical bid summaries.
- Prepare control narratives based on P&ID and I/O lists.
- Review and approve HMI screen graphic interfaces.
- Manage vendor I/O and instrument lists; coordinate I/O for control system hardware partitioning.
- Verify and perform design calculations, project studies, and report preparation.
- Evaluate technical bids and manage vendor contracts.
- Review and approve vendor drawings.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Tests and control wiring design.
- Read and incorporate logic design.
- Provide technical assistance during commissioning at the project site.
- Perform quality reviews of project submittals.
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Read and create electrical schematics.
- Create circuits from schematics and one-lines.
- Perform cable sizing calculations.
- Create cable termination interconnects and loop diagrams.
- Read and prepare one-lines and three-lines.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SocketWorx.
- Instrumentation, Design, Capital Project, I&C, I&C Engineering, Electrical Engineering, DCS, PLC, P&ID Development, Power Generation.
- Professional Engineering License preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- US Passport Holder.
- Available to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Positive attitude.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
