- Read and understand construction documents and gather critical information during inspections.
- Inspect various structures/silos in the field, identify deficiencies.
- Collect measurements, photos, and notes during inspections.
- Perform inspections from lifts or cable rigging, including confined space entry.
- Collaborate with facility personnel and rigging sub-consultants.
- Establish positive client relationships and effectively communicate findings.
- Write detailed technical reports on inspections, observations, and recommendations.
- Perform structural analysis and work with design teams on repair drawings.
- Possess design engineering experience in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, or wood.
- Coordinate with IMEG's design department for drawing development.
- Travel out-of-state for inspections, approximately 1-2 weeks per month.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficient in technical report writing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Meet client schedules and project deadlines.
- Proficient in RISA, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
- Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (required).
- Master's in Structural Engineering (preferred).
- PE License (required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bulk material handling design consulting.
- Knowledge of ACI, AISC, IBC codes.
- Certifications like MSHA, OSHA 10, Confined Space Entry.
