Job Description
- Req#: J48073
- Work with your Manager on how to build out a full advertising strategy and tactical quarterly planning
- Sit in on meetings with external and internal partners across Marketing and other departments to understand professional communications between various stakeholders
- Shadow various members on Advertising and Design to get a thorough understanding of media platforms, targeting capabilities, analytics, creative process, etc.
- Work with internal and external creative resources, content and product partners to develop advertising headlines, body copy, CTAs and visual designs and understand the creative process required to develop a go-to-market ad and test one in market.
- Maintain an advertising schedule, be able to confidently traffic creative, and ensure protocols are being followed
- Work with Advanced Analytics, Digital Marketing, and Cairns O’Neil to create in-depth analysis on campaign performance, build out robust A/B creative and targeting tests, and understand creative optimizations
- Working towards a university degree with a concentration in marketing and/or advertising is preferred
- Demonstrate an innovative, collaborative and forward-thinking approach
- Understanding of how and interest in building integrated marketing communications programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively, and diplomatically to a wide range of audiences
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment and meet deadlines
- You possess strong analytical, creative and organizational skills.
- General understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics skills are an asset
- General understanding of paid digital strategy, web, mobile and social media channels
- You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the term

How you’ll make an impact:
The Student, Advertising will help the team on planning and executing various elements of advertising campaigns, including, but not limited to, working closely with the creative and production teams and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure digital ad campaigns and sponsored events are coordinated and launched in a timely manner.
