    • Experience with supporting young students in social emotional learning in a play-based environment.
    • Communicate and work well with students (general and special education), teachers, parents, co-workers and others in the community.
    • Collaborate with teachers.
    • Assist in clerical tasks and preparation of instructional materials
    • Assist in supervision of individual or small groups during in instructional activities.
    • Assists students with physical care tasks and health-related activities as appropriate. Examples could include: feeding, dressing, transfers between equipment, and toileting.
    • New York State Employee System (NYSERS) Pension

      Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent

      We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications:
      • Experience with young children preferred.
      • Comfortable with lifting and supporting students with toileting.
