      The opportunity

      The Career Services Assistant provides high quality customer service and support to Southern New Hampshire’s online learner community. Main duties include administrative tasks such as data input and management and other special projects and initiatives as assigned.

      Key Job Responsibilities

      • Assist with all administrative duties to including:

        • Input Pre-Internship Survey data

        • End of term internship review and document wrap up – attaching documents to student files and manual data entry to fill out various spreadsheets.

        • File management of Internship Time sheets, evaluations, and final projects

        • Tracking internship employer evaluation responses/outcomes from past years.

        • Assist with document requirements and expiration dates of established affiliation agreements for internships.

        • Unify (Salesforce) assignments and associated reporting.

      • Manage internship and career advising email queues through Salesforce (learner CRM) as needed.

      • Support Career Engagement experiential learning challenges pre, during, and post-experience as needed.

      • Provide assistance with other administrative projects and tasks as assigned.

      • Confidentiality is of utmost importance and students are trained with this in mind

      • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in difficult situations with little supervision

      • Maintain a positive attitude during all shifts and be a role model for colleagues

      • Arrive at all shifts on-time and stay until the end of the shift

      • Must be committed to creating and supporting an inclusive community

      • Attend regular meetings with supervisor/team and employee appreciation events

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Must be a full-time enrolled student in an online or campus undergraduate/graduate program.

      • Students with work study may be prioritized

      • Effective evidence of strong oral and written communication skills, an ability to work independently. Flexibility, creativity, critical thinking, effective decision-making. Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

      Work Hours:

      The office is opened 8:00am – 9:00pm Monday through Friday. All shifts will be given depending on student’s schedule. Hours will not exceed 20 hours per week.

      Compensation

      The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
